Due to the age of the (various) buildings, the rooms vary a lot in both size and style. On average they are medium sized. They are all beautifully decorated each in its own traditional style with antique furniture and exposed beams. The bathrooms are almost all modern, and both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.
The restaurant is one of Lucerne's best known. The rustic but elegant decor is cosy and welcoming, the diner feeling like he is stepping back in time.
This is Lucerne's second oldest hotel and it retains its beautiful historical facade, which is actually made up of several old town houses which were knocked together to make a hotel. The small lobby is charmingly decorated with antique furniture and a small polished wood reception desk.
