3 Star, Superior Tourist Class Traditional Hotel
This hotel is located on the main road to Interlaken and only ten minutes drive from the town, it is set in beautiful surroundings overlooking the lake.
Most groups are allocated rooms in the annexe building which are all modern in style though rather simple. They are clean and comfortable though and the spectacular views of the lake and surrounding mountains make up for any shortfall in style in the rooms themselves! On average the rooms are medium sized, and both the rooms and the bathrooms are in good condition.
The restaurant is in the main (traditional) building. It is newly renovated and has a wonderful terrace which commands wonderful views of the lake.
The hotel consists of two buildings, the main one is traditional and attractive in style but the other is more modern and lacks character.
The reception area is very small and the lobby virtually non-existent but the hotel does cope well with group arrivals. This hotel's location is either its greatest strength or weakness depending on your point of view being non-central, but absolutely spectacular. A great spot for families though.
